Stave constructed tankard with split twig bands. Front stave has a hollowed out branch forming the spout. Back stave has carved handle projecting up to form hinge for the cover. Gothic sunburst rosettes, zigzag, crisscross, and scallop motifs burnt over entire surface except spout.
