WI 37th Inf Co K. Born in Norway. Civil War: Age 38. Farmer. Married. Blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, 6’. Drafted and enrolled 29 Sep 1864 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Privae. Discharged after 20 May 1865. The wife of “Henry Olson” applied for state aid of $5 per month in March, 1865. Lieut. Meredith Whitt, commanding Co K of the Wisc 37th, replied that “Henry Oleson enlisted Sept 29th 1864 at Prairie du Chien, Wis., and mustered into U. S.
