Took part in the battles of Hatcher’s Run, 6-7 Feb 1865; Gravelly Run, Virginia, 31 Mar 1865 and Five Forks, Virginia, 1 Apr 1865. Wounded in action at Five Forks. In hospital until 16 May 1865.
