Unmarried. Blue eyes, blond hair, fair complexion, 5’8”. Farmer. Enlisted for three years on 23 Dec 1861 and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 11 Feb 1862. Private. Wounded in the battle at Resaca, Georgia, 13 May 1864. Killed at Pickett’s Mill in the Battle of New Hope Church, Georgia, 27 May 1864. Buried at Marietta National Cemetery, grave A-118.
