Drafted from Moscow, Iowa County, Wisconsin, and enrolled for one year on 28 Sep 1864. Private. This unit in North Carolina was ordered on 30 Apr 1865 to move to Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin, to become the camp’s permanent guard. Hanson never joined the guard at Camp Randall.
