Drafted 24 Nov 1863 and mustered the same day at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Private. Captured 30 Jul 1864. Died in Andersonville prison 28 Apr 1865, the “last known” prisoner to die there. After his burial, two “unknowns” were buried.
