Sick in Nashville, Tennessee, in December 1862. Taken prisoner at Chickamauga, Georgia, 19 Sep 1863. Died of disease (Anasarca [dropsy]) in Andersonville Prison, 4 Jun 1864. Buried in National Cemetery there in grave 1655.
