They came first to the Koshkonong settlement in Dane County, Wisconsin, and then to Iowa County. Civil War: Unmarried. Age 18. Farmer. Gray eyes, brown hair, dark complexion, 5’9”. Enlisted for three years on 15 Sep 1861 at Dodgeville. Mustered 18 Oct 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Discharged from the service 10 Jul 1862 at Madison. Post war: Lived at Eureka, Kansas.
