Transferred to the 68th Indiana Regiment 1 Feb 1864. Came back to the Wisconsin 15th on 2 Apr 1864. Suffered a minor wound in his head at New Hope Church on 27 May 1864. Mustered out with D Company on 13 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga.
