Rigid Heddle Loom

A rigid heddle loom likely carved from one piece of wood. The slats have one set of holes. The loom has a wide base with slight arch. The tall decorative crown has a series of cut out rosettes, each crowned by tall pinnacles. Red sponged paint to simulate grain of wood.
Inscriptions: M.J.D. A(?) 1864 (painted on front).
