This table runner has a geometric star design in a weave which resembles klostersaum, or satin stitch blocks. There is a multi-colored fringe on both ends, and braid has been applied to the sides.
The table runner came from the estate sale of a woman who immigrated from the island of Stord, off the coast of Bergen, Norway.
