Seriously wounded at Stone’s River, Tennessee, 31 Dec 1862, and sent to hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and from there to a convalescent center. Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 28 Nov 1863. Mustered out with H Company on 15 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga. Died in Vernon County, Wisconsin, sometime before 1907.
