Returned to duty on 30 Oct 1862. Took part in the battles of Fredericksburg, Virginia, 11-15 Dec 1862; Fitzhugh’s Crossing, Virginia, 29 Apr 1863; Chancellorsville, Virginia, 1-3 May 1863 and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, 1-3 Jul 1863.
