Joined G Company at Strawberry Plains, Virginia. 31 Mar 1864. Wounded in his hand at New Hope Church, Georgia, 27 May 1864. Transferred to Company H at Whiteside, Tennessee. Temporarily assigned to the 24th Infantry on 13 Feb 1865. Transferred to Company I of the 13th on 10 Jun 1865.
