Married on 2 Jan 1842 to Ragnilda Tollaksdatter Vikøren. They came to America on the “Albion”, out of Bergen reaching New York 9 Jul 1844. They came to Wiota township, Lafayette County. Civil War: Age 42. Enlisted 2 Feb 1864 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Killed in action at Dallas, Georgia, on 25 May 1864.
