Mustered 2 Dec 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Wounded at Chickamauga, Georgia, 19 Sep 1863. Mustered out with Company, 1 Jan 1865, at Chattanooga, Tennessee. Post war: In March 1880, he was granted a pension of $2 a month because of a wound to his right arm and dislocation of his left shoulder.
