Horeb; and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, on 16 Dec 1861. Private. Wounded at Stone’s River, Tennessee, and taken prisoner. Later exchanged. Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 28 Nov 1863. Sick in Nashville, Tennessee, 15 Jun 1864. Mustered out with company on 13 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee. Post war: In 1886, he was living in Belmond, Iowa. Died 26 Dec 1902.
