WI 7th Inf Co A. Residence: Decorah, Winneshiek County Iowa. Civil War: Age 34. Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin. Mustered 16 Aug 1861 at Madison. Private. He was arrested and detained in Iowa 20 Dec 1861. On 10 Oct 1862, he was dropped from the military rolls. On 1 Sep 1864, he was mustered out by reason of expiration of his term of service.
