Mustered 18 Oct 1864 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Sent to General Hospital at Brazos, Texas, 9 Jun 1865. Discharged 28 Sep 1865 at Camp Randall, Madison. Post war: Died 3 Dec 1904 of debility at age 69 and is buried in Green Hill Cemetery at Alexandria, South Dakota, lot 3, block 48, grave E.
