Enrolled for one year on 21 Nov 1864 at Janesville, Wisconsin, as a substitute for Abram Dakley [looks like] of Dekorra, Columbia County, Wisconsin. Mustered the same day. Private. Wounded in action on 2 Apr 1865. Still in hospital at regiment’s muster out. Post war: Granted a pension of $6 a month because of a wound to his nose and left shoulder and forearm.
