Seriously wounded in his right arm at Stone’s River, Tennessee, 31 Dec 1862 and sent to hospital. Served as escort with the provision transport from Stevenson, Alabama, in Oct 1863. Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from 21 Sep 1863 until 28 Nov 1863. Wounded in his left hand at Red Clay, Georgia, on 4 May 1864. Mustered out with his Company on 13 Jan 1865 at Chattanooga.
