In hospitals at Corinth for wounds, in Keokuk, Iowa, for chronic diarrhea. Discharged from the service on expiration of term, 22 Dec 1864. Post war: He farmed south of Albert Lea. Wife Christina. Six children. Died 31 Jul 1893. Buried in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea.
