WI 15th Inf Co C. Residence: Muskego Center, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Born in Ireland. Civil War: Age 24. Unmarried. Farmer. Dark eyes, black hair, dark complexion, 5’10”. Enlisted for three years on 28 Dec 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin, and mustered there on 10 Jan 1862. Corporal. Detained by civil authorities in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on 1 Feb 1862. The Sheriff of Waukesha County subsequently reported him pardoned on 25 Mar 1862. Reduced to Private on 15 May 1862. He rejoined the 15th Regiment at Mississippi River Island No. 10, on 4 Jun 1862. Taken prisoner at La Vergne, Tennessee, 29 Dec 1862, and sent to St Louis to be exchanged. His parole was declared invalid, and he was sent to his Company at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, 13 Jan 1863.
