Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Lewiston. Mustered 30 Aug 1862 at Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Appointed Sergeant on 1 Jun 1865. Mustered out 4 Jul 1865. Post war: In 1885, he was living in Leeds, Benson County, North Dakota. He married Cora in 1888 at Minnewaukan, North Dakota. He died in 1906.
