Civil War: Married. Age 45. Enlisted for three years on 8 Aug 1862 at Monroe, Wisconsin. Mustered 1 Sep 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine, Wisconsin. Private. Discharged from the service 17 Oct 1864 on account of wounds received in action on 5 Mar 1863. Post war: Buried at Jordan, “1818 – 1869”.
