Enlisted for three years on 10 Dec 1861 at Lowville. Private. Wounded in the battle of Pittsburg Landing, Tennessee, 6 Apr 1862. Wounded again the next day. Re-enlisted for three years on 1 Jan 1864 at Huntsville, Alabama. Re-mustered there the same day. Mustered out 18 Jul 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky.
