Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Vermont. Mustered 25 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $75 still due at muster out. Private. Left sick at Helena, Arkansas, on 13 Aug 1863. In hospital at Memphis, Tennessee, 28 Aug 1863. On furlough, 28 Jan to 7 Feb 1863. Left sick at Little Rock, Arkansas, on 20 Mar 1864. On 3 May 1865, Private Hans Hanson was absent sick at Division hospital at McIntosh Bluff. Absent sick in general hospital at Mobile, Alabama, since 3 May 1865.
