Engaged in the battles of Chaplain Hills, Jefferson Pike, Stone’s River, Hoover Gap, Dug Gap, Chickamauga, Resaca and Altoona. Wounded near Kenesaw Mountain on 18 Jun 1864. Post war: Granted a pension of $8 a month because of a wound to his left shoulder.
