Private. Recorded as absent without leave on 20 Oct 1862, but was found to be sick in New Albany, Indiana. Ran away from the hospital in Cave City, Kentucky, on 1 Nov 1862. Said to have enlisted again in Cairo, Illinois, in a Marine Brigade. Perished in Marine Brigade, Arizona.
