Enrolled for one year on 13 Mar 1865 at Green Bay, Wisconsin, as a substitute for James Culbertson. Mustered there the same day. Private. This unit was moved to Madison, Wisconsin, to become the permanent garrison of Camp Randall. Private Hoube never joined this guard at Randall. Mustered out 24 Jun 1865.
