Sick in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 28 Nov 1863; also 23 May 1864. Mustered out with I Company on 10 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga. Post war: Hove in 1893 was living at the home of his son in Eureka, Greenwood County, Kansas. Died there.
