WI Lt Arty 4th Battery. Civil War: Age 19. Enlisted for three years on 12 Oct 1861 at Beloit, Wisconsin. Mustered 9 Jan 1862 at Racine, Wisconsin. Private. On 30 Nov 1863, he was sick in Chesapeake Hospital at Hampton, Virginia. Killed in action on Darbytown Road on 7 Oct 1864.
