Private. Sick in a hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 17 Sep 1862. Wounded and taken prisoner at Chickamauga, Georgia, 19 Sep 1863. Was still a prisoner in June 1864. Mustered out 10 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee. Post war: Was granted a pension of $4 a month because of a gun shot wound to his left arm.
