Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Albion. Mustered 25 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Private. As “Ole Johnson” he was listed as sick on hospital boat for Paducah, Kentucky, 27 Jul 1863.
