Enlisted for three years on 20 Aug 1862 at Rush River. Mustered 21 Oct 1862 at Madison, Wisconsin. Private. Was sick at Camp Randall, Madison, 2 May 1863. Mustered out 20 Sep 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky. Post war: In October 1890, he was living in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He died in the Wisconsin Soldiers Home about 1895.
