WI 15th Inf Co D. Residence: Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 25. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 25 Oct 1861 at Oconomowoc, and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 10 Dec 1861. Private. Absent with the commissary train during July 1862. Sick and left behind in Iuka, Mississippi, 20 Aug 1862. Died of disease in U. S. General hospital at Nashville, Tennessee, 2 Dec 1862. Buried in Nashville National Cemetery.
