He was with the Brigade on Military Police duty on 1 May 1864; served at the headquarters of the 1st Brigade, 3rd Division, 4th Army Corps. Promoted to Corporal 1 Sep 1864. Mustered out with Company G on 13 Jan 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee. Post war: Lived in Manchester township, Freeborn county, Minnesota.
