Enlisted for three years on 21 Dec 1863 at Madison. Mustered 7 Jan 1864 at Madison. Bounty paid $60. Private. Joined Company H on 21 Apr 1864 at Camden, Arkansas, coming from the recruiting depot at Madison. On 17 Sep 1864, he was detailed as a teamster for the quartermaster department, returned on the 20th.
