Transferred on 4 Nov 1864 into Co F, 2nd & 3rd Veteran Infantry Consolidated, from Co B, 3rd Battalion. Mustered out 5 Jul 1865, Louisville, Kentucky. Post war: Lived at West Union, Iowa. Lived in Newry township, Freeborn County, Minnesota, in 1882. Received pension in 1883. Buried in North Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery; stone reads “2 Aug 1846-18 Aug 1919”.
