Came to America with his mother and two brothers on the “Tricolor” from Christiania reaching New York on 25 Jul 1846. Married Ingeborg Jensdatter (1825-1856) on 26 Sep 1850 in Winneconne, Wisconsin. Three children. Married in 1857 to Olena Christianson (1829-1872). Four children. Civil War: Age 38. Farmer. Married. Blue eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion, 5’7”. Enlisted for one year on 23 Feb 1865 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Enlistment credited to Lawrence township, Brown County. Private. Discharged for disability on 23 Aug 1865 at St. Louis, Missouri. Post war: Married Agnethe Pedersen Lund (1843-1907) on 7 May 1873 and they had one child. Peder died 19 Aug 1913 and is buried at Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester.
