Absent sick at Duval’s Bluff, Arkansas, 29 Aug 1863. On detached service “guarding boat”, 3 Mar 1864. On 12 Oct 1864, absent sick and sent north to general hospital at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. On 3 Apr 1865, he is shown as returning to duty from absent sick at Prairie du Chien. Mustered out with company on 29 Aug 1865 at Brownsville, Texas.
