WI 15th Inf Co I. Residence: Scandinavia, Wisconsin. Born 20 Jan 1843 at Torrisdal, Drangedal, Norway, the son of Jorgen Abrahamson Farsjo and Asberg Ellingsdatter Naas. This soldier’s father, Jorgen, died in 1846 and his mother, Asberg, married Jorgen Olsen Wrolstad, who adopted Lars and gave him the Wrolstad name. Civil War: Age 19. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 4 Nov 1861 at Scandinavia and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 20 Dec 1861. Private. Became unfit for service and was discharged for disease from Mississippi River Island No. 10 on 21 May 1862. Post war: Lived at Iola, Wisconsin. He died there in 1902.
