Said to have seen action in 33 battles and skirmishes. Promoted to Corporal. Mustered out near end of the war. Post war: Married on 5 Feb 1865 to Kristine Olson. Nine children. The family moved to Becker County, Minnesota, in 1874 and to Flom Township, Norman County, Minnesota, in 1884. Lars died 27 Jul 1900.
