Died 14 Sep 1867, at Silver Lake Township, Worth County, Iowa, possibly from disease contracted in the southern swamps. Buried in the Hundeby Cemetery, also called South Silver Lake Cemetery, Worth County. He was a brother to Theodore K. Hundeby. He was one of the first settlers in Worth County.
