Discharged Jul 1865 at Yankton, South Dakota. Post war: Died of asthma at age 73 on 30 Jan 1908 at Mission Hill, South Dakota. Buried in Vangen Lutheran Cemetery, at Mission Hill, lot 2, block 51, grave 3.
