Enlisted for three years on 27 Nov 1862 at Madison, Wisconsin, as a substitute for Charles Curry, who was “drafted Militia, Mineral Point, Iowa County, Wisconsin, and ordered to report at Dodgeville, Iowa County, 17 Nov 1862” Larson was mustered 24 Dec 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine, Wisconsin. Private. Mustered out 8 Jul 1865 near Louisville, Kentucky. Post war: Died 25 Sep 1897. Buried in Perry cemetery, Daleyville, Wisconsin.
