Enlisted for three years on 21 Aug 1862 at Vermont. Mustered 25 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $75 still due at muster out. Private. Sick at Duval’s Bluff, Arkansas, 29 Aug 1862. Left sick at Little Rock, Arkansas, 23 Mar 1864. On 6 Oct 1864, he was detached to guard the Little Rock, Arkansas, boat docks. Mustered out with company on 29 Aug 1865 at Brownsville, Texas.
