Sergeant. Served in France from 11 Jan 1918 to 13 May 1919. Was in battles in the Alsace sector, Aisne-Marne offensive, Oisne-Aisne offensive and the Meuse-Orgonne offensive. Discharged 23 May 1919. Post war: Married to Hazel G. Died at age 47 on 3 Feb 1937 at Hot Springs, South Dakota. Buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton, lot 23, block 12, grave 6.
