WI 28th Inf Co B. Born 2 Jun 1844 at Norderhov, Buskerud, Norway, son of Ole Knudsen Blixrud and Anne Olsdatter. He came to America with his parents and a brother, Ole, on “Bull”, a Swedish brig which sailed from Gothenburg and arrived 24 Aug 1848. They came to Ottawa Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
