DT 1st Cav Co B. Born 11 Oct 1827 at Christiania, Norway. Indian War: Age 34. Enrolled 20 Sep 1862 at Vermillion, Dakota Territory. Private. Served as a blacksmith. Discharged from the service 15 Aug 1864 at Fort Randall. Post war: Married Anna. Four children.
